The YKK Widnes Wild are pleased to announce that Lee Kemp will be returning to the club for the forthcoming 2018/19 Laidler Division season.
The 30 year old 6’2″ defenceman learnt his hockey in the Nottingham junior system and played for the Lions and Peterborough Islanders in the then ENL before joining the Wild for the 2015/16 season. He has played 102 games for the Wild, scoring 6+21 and notching up over 200 penalty minutes.
Talking about his return to the Wild for another season, Kemp said:
“I’m really pleased to be back playing for the Wild for a 4th year. It’s a privilege to put on the shirt and play in front of a great bunch of fans and I can’t wait to get back on the ice with the boys and get the season going. We’re putting a strong group of lads together that can hopefully win the league this year – as that’s what we all want.”
Lee will once again wear the number 15 shirt and his home, away and warm-up shirts are available to own ‘n’ loan here.
The YKK Widnes Wild still have season tickets available starting at £60 and further information is available on the YKK Widnes Wild Website or from Planet Ice Widnes.
