The YKK Widnes Wild are pleased to announce that popular forward Ken Armstrong will be returning to the club for the forthcoming 2018/19 Laidler Division season.
Armstrong played junior hockey at Altrincham before graduating to 4 seasons of ENL hockey for the Lancashire Raptors and Blackburn Eagles, playing 80 league games for the East Lancashire club. He joined the Wild for their debut 2013/14 season and is now returning for his 6th consecutive campaign.
Ken has made 154 appearances in Widnes colours, scoring 15+20 and picking up 38 penalty minutes.
Talking about his return to the Wild for another season, Ken said:
“I am delighted to be back at Widnes and playing in front of the best fans in the league for the forthcoming season. It’s my 6th season at Widnes, each year we’ve improved, and the team Barron has put together this year is the strongest one yet.”
Ken will once again wear the number 9 shirt and his home, away and warm-up shirts are available to own ‘n’ loan here.
The YKK Widnes Wild still have season tickets available starting at £60 and further information is available on the YKK Widnes Wild Website or from Planet Ice Widnes.
