Being part of the YKK Widnes Wild Ice Hockey Club means being part of the greatest ice hockey family in the world. We look out for each other, and particularly those who are in need.
The YKK Widnes Wild Community Programme is the official community programme of the YKK Widnes Wild. Building on the Club’s work in the community over the past 5 seasons, the Community Programme was formed to harness the power and passion our fans and supporters have to improve the lives of others.
We deliver a wide range of initiatives and activities that aim to make the biggest impact possible for children and young people both in Halton and beyond. We also support suitable organisation by providing Wild game tickets which they can use in supporting their fundraising activities.
To ensure the YKK Community Programme can make the greatest impact possible, in addition to our own programmes we work in partnership with local charities and non-profit organisations to improve the life and health chances of children and young people.
The Community Programme is overseen by YKK Widnes Wild Player Mike Gilbert, supported by our Community Programme Coordinator Andrew Wycherley.
