The Widnes Wild are delighted to announce the return of Shaun “Dippy” Dippnall for a sixth season. Shaun who has played virtually all of his senior hockey at the Wild apart from a mid-career crisis which saw him ice for just nine games for a team in a different country. For the Wild Dippy has won two playoff medals, played 133 games scoring 234 points including the crucial 5 hole penalty shot against the Hull Jets in the 2018 NiHL2 Playoffs.
Commenting on his return Dippy said;
“I am really happy to be back at Widnes again this season and I’m excited to get the season going again. Obviously last year we fell short of winning the league but I am confident in the team Ollie is putting together we will have the strength to go one step further this season.”
Once again Dippy will wear the number 93 shirt which is available to own ‘n’ loan here.
