It’s not Jeremy Kyle that Wild, it’s Kyle Haslam!

The RTL Widnes Wild are delighted to welcome 19 year old forward Kyle Haslam to the team.

Although young Kyle has already played 45 games in the NiHL Laidler conference as well as gaining experience with the Moralee Conference Blackburn Hawks. Kyle has also played a number of games for the Hawks U20’s team which he has been a part of this season and last.

Speaking about his latest signing, Widnes Wild, Player-coach Ollie Barron said;

“I’m pleased to announce the addition of Kyle Haslam to the Widnes Wild roster. Kyle is a young fast forward, at only 19 years old he is a exciting prospect to add to the team, he has played in both NIHL 1 and NIHL 2 while coming through the junior ranks at Blackburn. Kyle trained with the squad on Thursday and I liked what I saw, he’s a young fast hungry forward with the ability to put the puck in the net.”

“It’s fair to say at points this season, we have lacked in numbers to certain games, With the addition of Kyle and the re-signing of Shaun Dippnall last week, we have two forwards which make us stronger as a team, competition for places is high, which makes my job difficult, however it adds a depth to the squad we have been missing this season,” Ollie continued.

Kyle will wear the #70 shirt for the RTL Widnes Wild and you can own and loan his shirts here.

The Wild are next in action on Sunday night when they face the Deeside Dragons.  Faceoff is 5:30pm and tickets are £7 adults and £4 kids.
