Widnes Wild travel to Bradford this weekend for their first meeting with Laidler new boys Bradford Bulldogs.
After another break in the fixtures, Wild finally have a one-game weekend and travel to West Yorkshire to face the all-new Bradford Bulldogs.
Bulldogs, similar to Wild have had a tough start to the season as both teams sit at the bottom of the table. Bradford have currently played 7 games, taking 7 defeats and shipping 94 goals in that time, but have a goals per game average of just under 2 goals.
Bradford are already being labelled as one of the more physical teams in the division. Contributor to that, and ex-Wild Defenseman Troy Evans allowed us an insight into life at Bradford.
“Widnes can expect quite a physical and in your face game from us. We’ve been working hard in training and putting these to practice in the games, and although the scorelines haven’t been going our way the team is growing as a whole and is starting to gel a lot more.”
“My time at Bradford so far has been really enjoyable, they’re a great set of lads and Andy is a good coach that pushes us all, I’m looking forward to playing against Wild and seeing old faces, it should be an enjoyable game see yous all Saturday!”
The Wild need your support on the road and their are still seats available on the coach. You can contact the WildOnes Supports Club to book your seat on: WidnesWildOnes@icloud.com
