Recycling a Partnership to Grow the Team

English National Ice Hockey team, Widnes Wild has ended the league season by announcing a new corporate partnership with RTL, who are set to become the main sponsor of Widnes Wild Senior team.

Recycle Thing PosterRTL has had an association with the ice hockey for many years and this year were the main sponsor of the Widnes Wild NIHL Cup shirts.  Additionally, RTL and the Wild have worked on a joint recycling initiative over the past league season which has seen revenue generated for the Widnes Wild.

Over the next season RTL will be working along the Wild to promote awareness of the benefits of recycling and the opportunity for the local community to recycle electrical items to generate funds for both the Widnes Wild senior and junior teams.

Doug Brown, director of RTL, said: “In the three seasons that the Wild have competed they have shown themselves to be an ethically sound organisation dedicated to supporting the local community in a professional and sensitive way”

Opening its doors in 2010 RTL is now one of the region’s leading recycling companies with a reputation for supporting the local community.

Widnes Wild Head Coach, Scott McKenzie, added: “We are delighted to announce such a significant partnership for our team especially one that has come about through a solid partnership built over a number of years.”
