As announced on Time To Go Wild Radio earlier this evening the RTL Widnes Wild are delighted to announce the signings of Shaun Dippnall, Bobby Caunce and Stu Brittle.
Shaun “Dippy” Dippnall has been a Wild player since the first season and has played 109 games for the Wild, scoring 196 points. Bobby Caunce is notable for not only being the first ever Wild signing but also consistently being one of the most clinical goal scorers in the league. Lastly, Stu Brittle joined the Wild last season as one of Coach Barron’s first signings and quickly established himself as a WildOne’s favourite scoring 59 points in 26 league games.
Commenting on the signings, Player-Coach Ollie Barron said;
“Dippy will once again captain the Wild, Dippy is Wild through and through and it’s important that Shaun is returning as captain to lead our team once again, Shaun is great playmaker and an offensive goal threat.”
“Bobby returning is another great signing, Bobby had a great impact on the squad when he joined us late on from Blackburn Hawks last season, Bob has great knowledge of the game and vision and knows how to find the net,” continued Ollie.
“Stu is a key re-signing, he was a major part of our success last season, he’s great to have in the changing room with his experience of playing higher levels, he’s another team playmaker and leader.”
All three players shirts are available to own ‘n’ loan and more information can be found here.
