Weekend Preview: Away at Coventry and Hull

Coventry v Wild 1st NovemberWild have already received confirmation of second consecutive year of a play-off place and of course the most all-important goal a chance of promotion to the North Division 1.

However the season is far from over with three more games left, after a free weekend of no ice hockey fixture for the team, Wild have an away double header this coming weekend as they travel to face Coventry Blaze on Saturday for a 17:00 face off.

Then the following night Widnes Wild will be on the road again traveling to the Hull Jets home ice for a 17:30 face off.

Coventry Blaze are currently in eighth with Hull Jets just above them after Nottingham Lions leapfrogging Jets in the table.

Widnes are going into this weekend undefeated in four games and looking to end the season on a high before going into battle at play-offs against Solihull Barons in order to ensure a good platform for their promotion encounter against Whitley Warriors.

If you can’t make the trip to both games this weekend, then don’t forget the Wild’s official Twitter account
