The YKK Widnes Wild are delighted to announce the signing of Cam Brownley for the remainder of the NiHL North Cup. Cam has played the majority of his career in Sheffield and has played for the Steeldogs since 2014 apart from a season in 2015/16 where he played for the Hull Pirates.
Cam has been brought in as cover following the injury to Dani Haid in the game against the Nottingham Lions which has resulted in Dani suffering from concussion. Dani is recovering well but player-coach Ollie Baron felt that it would benefit the Wild to bring Cam into the squad.
Commenting on the signing of Cam, Ollie said,
“Cam looked good on training, especially as he hadn’t skated in so long and will make a positive impact for the Wild going forward”.
Cameron will make his Wild debut in the game against the Sheffield Scimitars at iceSheffield and will wear the number 91 shirt, which is available to own ‘n’ loan here.
Don’t forget the game is available to view on YouTube – https://youtu.be/IT0cRKS5yL4 and you can also follow the YKK Widnes Wild on Twitter and Facebook @WidnesWild and Instagram @WidnesWildOffical
