In only their second season the Widnes Wild Ice Hockey team have made both the conference playoff tournament and earned the chance for promotion though a home and away series of games against the Whitley Warriors.
The playoff tournament will take place in Solihull over Easter Weekend. The Wild will play League Champions, Solihull Barons, on the Saturday 4th April facing off at 6:30pm. The winners of this game will play in the playoff finals on Monday 6th April at 6:30pm.
There will be limited places on the team coach however if there is sufficient demand a second coach may be feasible.

- Weekend Adult Ticket £25.00 Child/Concession £12,50 Family Ticket £60.00

In addition the Wild will play the Whitley Warriors over the weekend of the 11th and 12th April with the winners going into Division 1 for the 2015/16 season. These are the most important games in the short history of the Wild and it would be great to get as many Wild Ones as possible at both games.
The home leg will be at Silver Blades Widnes on the 11th April facing off at 5:30pm. Ticket process will be the same as for league games and as a thank you to our season ticket holders for their support this game will be covered by the season ticket.
Widnes will then travel to Whitley Bay for the away leg which will take place on the Sunday evening. Details are available on the Whitley Bay website www.whitelywarriors.net.
The Wild would like to thank all the fans, players, volunteers, coaches, managers and the rink for achieving so much in so short a time. Whatever happens we know we have the loudest fans and the most passionate players in the league and that even though it’s the end of the season there is still Time To Go Wild!
And don’t forget that everyone involved in the Wild can get together at our presentation night at the Select Stadium on the 17th April, with special guest the Mayor of Halton, with tickets being only £10 (£7 for Wild Ones / Own ‘n’ loaners / Season Ticket holders / juniors).
