Last week your YKK Widnes Wild volunteers Stacey Louise Bungay, Andrew Shutt and Andrew Wycherley literally hot stepped it with their fund raising by doing a sponsored fire walk to raise money for our 2018 charity partner The Halton Haven.
Each of them put their best foot forward walking over hot coals with temperatures over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. Between them with some help from Barclay’s Bank they managed to raise over £1025 for the Haven. The night itself has raised over £5000 which all goes directly to the Haven and its patients. If you missed out this time and want to bravely take part in the next fire walk then there is another in February and all details are on Halton Havens face book page along with all the other charity events they are running.
Thank you to all involved for giving their time and feet to raise money for an excellent cause.
