The final four clubs in this year’s Moralee Cup were confirmed at the weekend from the two qualifying groups. In the North group, Solway Sharks clinched top spot with an unblemished qualifying campaign, while Dundee Comets were the second qualifiers after a late smash & grab at Whitley Warriors on Sunday secured the semi final berth.
From the Midlands group the Solihull Barons and Widnes Wild finished level on four wins after their round robin series, the Barons taking top spot due to the head to head results between them.
In the crossover semi finals Solway Sharks will face Widnes Wild, while Solihull Barons go up against Dundee Comets.
The first semi final dates are confirmed with Solway hosting Widnes at Dumfries Ice Bowl on Saturday 11th December at 7pm, with the second leg at Planet Ice Widnes on Sunday 12th December at 5.30pm.
Details of the second semi final will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
The Moralee Cup Final will take place over two legs in mid January 2022
