The YKK-sponsored Widnes Wild are pleased to announce the return of defenceman Dan Bracegirdle for the forthcoming 2019/2020 Laidler Division Season.
Dan was an important member of last year’s League and Play Off double winning team and this will be his fifth season with the Wild.
Bracegirdle was one of the initial group of players who formed the basis of the Wild team when the club first started in the summer of 2013, having previously played for the Blackpool-based Fylde Flyers.
Dan missed the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 seasons through illness but fought back with a vengeance and remains an important member of the Team.
In his four seasons to date with the Wild, he has played 99 games, scored 5 goals and 9 assists and notched up 142 penalty minutes.
Talking about his re-signing for the team, Bracegirdle said:
“I am looking forward to returning for what will be my fifth season with the Wild. Last year was fantastic to be part of as a team, we achieved some great things and set outselves high standards so, hopefully, we can go on and repeat it this year.”
Dan will once again be wearing the No. 4 shirt and his home, away and warm-up shirts are available to “own and loan”. More information can be found by following this link .
