The home game against Sheffield Scimitars on Sunday saw the unveiling of the winning design in the YKK Kit Colouring Competition that was organised by the Wild’s main sponsors and ran during August and early September.

The prize for the winner was to have their design made into a board to be displayed around the playing surface behind the goal at the Planet Ice rink this season – and the winner was James Walker, aged 9.

James and his family were special guests at the game on Sunday and he was presented with his prize on the ice by the Mayor of Halton, Cllr Christopher Rowe.
